Welfare of animals

We have taken up a project at Bhardan, Vadodara District, Gujarat, where the abandoned cows are sheltered and taken care off. Cows are important to the society as a milk yielding animals. But, beyond that even when the cow is not yielding any milk, can still give cow dung, cow urine which is used in various forms. We believe in this and our society has given a pride of the place to cows and equated them with Gods. Laxmibai Gauseva trust has the same belief of protecting the Cows. They give preferences to rescuing and taking care of non milk yielding cows. We are associated with this trust for more than 4 years in taking care of such abandoned cows. Our association has helped 100s of cows to find better shelter.
